About

Hi!

I’m Angela Simmons, founder of
Find Your Sparkle.

I’m excited about collaborating with you to rediscover the Sparkle in your life or your workplace.

Background

I’m a busy Mum with 3 kids. Juggling work life, home life and the emotional management of growing children and teenagers. We are an active family, enjoying running, mountain biking, hockey, swimming and exploring NZ in our campervan.

Rehabilitation Consultant – Injury, Illness and Mental Health

I will help you navigate the tricky area of being an empathetic employer whilst holding the individual accountable for seeking the support that they need, communicating with the work place and participating in an appropriate return to work programme. From mental health crisis, domestic violence, addiction, terminal illness and injuries – I have a wealth of experience to help you and your employees find a way forward.

Coaching and Peri-menopause

With 10yrs Personal Training Experience, a Science Degree in Physiology and my own experience with Peri-menopause, I am here to help you understand what is happening in your body, discuss how manage all of your competing priorities, and set the foundations for staying fit and active in the second half of your life. It can be overwhelming! I’ve spent 12 months reading, listening and talking about Peri-menopause and I’ve been shocked by the complexity and range of symptoms that can be thrown the way of women in middle age. Give me a call, together we can Find Your Sparkle!

Lunch and Learns

I am an experienced presenter who has delivered webinars, spoken at conferences and delivered workshops in many different forums and a range of audience sizes and interests. It’s important to provide your organisations with engaging topics that support wellbeing at this time of national and global change. Topics include:
  • Understanding and supporting peri-menopause at work
  • Sustainable Wellbeing – avoiding burnout
  • Identifying and Supporting Mental Health Symptoms at work
  • And other topics relating to Wellbeing, Mental Health and Workplace Culture

Managing Psycho-Social Risks

I am passionate about workplace culture. Providing a work environment where all of your employees feel seen and heard is fundamental to having great retention and high productivity. Great culture is less about how things look when things are going well, and more about communication and processes when emotions run high, disagreements arise and unexpected problems occur. However, it can be overwhelming knowing where to start and which problems to tackle first. If this is an area that you are interested in, then give me a call.
